This model is for 1 rider. It includes 1 drive unit and 1 seat; steers with a rudder. No one component weighs over 41 lbs. Pontoons are 14' 10" long; overall width is 70".
Ideal for:
Single rider with room for a basket behind the seat
Can be converted to a Sea-Cycle TWIN by adding a SOLO Conversion Kit. Rated for 550 lbs. and speeds up to 12.8 mph
Sea-Cycle TWIN - $2,785 retail (contact us for best price):
Model is same as above but with 2 drive units and 2 seats; steers with a rudder. No one component weighs over 41 lbs; Overall weight is 175 lbs. Pontoons are 14' 10" long; overall width is 70".

Couples or where an extra seat is needed to for taking along another passenger such as a child or pet. Room to add/upgrade (extra charge) either 2 more seats or baskets but not both.

All Sea-Cycles models can be upgraded to Arm Action by special order only ($295 ea. drive). Arm action cannot be added to non-special ordered units. This makes the SOLO very similar to the WATER BIKE but with the multi-user upgrade option for the future plus handles up to 550 lbs of rider weight. Keep in mind that Sea-Cycles are steered with a rudder requiring hand use that complicates the use of arm action.

Steering is accomplished by leaning on the seat back which allow the articulated/pivoting "rudder toons" to move in the direction needed.
Unsurpassed speeds up to 13.5 mph versus the other hydro style bikes at less than 10 mph.
No one component weighs over 20 lbs; Overall weight is 85 lbs. Length is 10' 8" & width is 52". Pivoting pontoon can be shortened into 2 pieces (3/4 & 1/4) for transportation.

It usually takes anywhere from 5-10 days after your purchase has been made for your unit to ship out & a few more days after that for home delivery.

CANADIAN SHIPMENTS:
Customs/duties; Because of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Canadians do not have to pay customs on most American manufactured items. We do include completed NAFTA forms with our Canadian shipments. For clarification on such we recommend contacting(click here): Canada Border Service Agency. Check with your provincial tax agency for answers on taxation as we are not experts in Canadian duties/taxation and those costs are not included in our quotes. As a general rule, you will be required to pay 13-14.5% combined National & Provincial sales tax calculated at the border where the item crosses.
Used Sea-Cycles & Water Bikes
People ask me quite often if I know where to buy a used Sea-Cycle or Water Bike. The answer is almost always NO. The reason? Anyone that owns one never wants to sell them! This is one item that will not be put in the back of the garage & remain unused because they are so much fun & easy to use. The other reason is that they can last a lifetime with minimal maintenance. Generally the only time that a used Sea-Cycle or Water Bike becomes available is because someone becomes physically unable to use them. If you do have a used unit to sell, please let me know!
